Rows of houses are bearing down on me...

Holy Moly Batman!!! The 80's are back upon us again... Me and the ever-lovable Yeeyong were at the ever-efferverscent AB's new bachelor pad at Siglap last night, working out some new tune. Sounds wicked and like a Radiohead ripoff. If there's one thing I ever learn from my fellow sluts (you know yourselves!!!), once a slut, always a slut... or you can always call it referencing... But it's all good, the song that is.

After we were done, we caught a bit of MTV and saw the Darkness's "Growing On Me". Justin Hawkins' oh-so-Freddie Mercury moves, coupled with all those 80's hair-metal riffs makes it sound as if the 80's never left us. In addition, those videos... my Gawd... chekkit. It's along the lines of W.A.S.P. and Twisted Sister. Funny but there's always so much you can take. If you can find on Kazaa-lite or something, look for their cover of Radiohead's "Street Spirit (Fade Out)", done hair-metal style!!! It's rather amusing... Apparently, they take themselves rather seriously. And all this ain't a Spinal Tap send-up.
